Klapp Media have produced the films that are on the website, Røros World Heritage.
Røros is a perfect backdrop for producing films with its beautiful countryside and buildings, and, not least the very special light conditions. However, having said that we must admit that it was not an easy task to make snippets of film to illustrate the history of Røros. There is a great deal to tell, and it is difficult to know exactly how things were. Therefore, we chose to make the people ‘transparent’. The actors represent the lives of people who existed in Røros through many hundreds of years. We enjoyed excellent cooperation with the theatrical society in Røros who arranged extras and costumes. And we would not have managed without the efforts of the Røros Museum in the preparatory work.
